On May 28, the 2026 KOICA Global Fellowship Alumni 1st Knowledge Sharing Seminar was successfully held at the Mbeya Regional Commissioner’s Office in Mbeya.
The seminar brought together government officials, teachers, and students to promote girls’ education and raise awareness on preventing teenage pregnancy. A KOICA Global Fellowship alumnus led an interactive knowledge-sharing session, highlighting the importance of sexual and reproductive health awareness, life skills development, informed decision-making, and creating a supportive environment that enables girls to remain in school and achieve their full potential. Participants actively engaged in discussions and question-and-answer sessions, demonstrating a strong commitment to addressing challenges affecting girls’ education.
The seminar also strengthened collaboration between KOICA, the KOICA Global Fellowship Alumni Network (KOAT), and the Mbeya Regional Commissioner’s Office in advancing educational opportunities for girls and promoting adolescent well-being. KOICA Tanzania Office will continue working closely with the KOICA Global Fellowship Alumni Network to promote knowledge sharing, support community development initiatives, and further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Korea and Tanzania.
